Halloween is this weekend. The decorations are on the front door and in the front yard. The costumes are picked out and the candy has been bought.

Oh, but what about blood? I'll tell you right now, no self respecting vampire would be caught dead...scratch that...no self respecting vampire would be caught out at night without blood dripping from the corner of their month.

Here's a great little recipe for some good old fashion homemade blood. It's super easy to make and it's only got four ingredients. Plus it's non-toxic so kids eat it with no worries!

8 ounces of water
16 ounces of powdered sugar
1 ounce bottle of red food coloring
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder to make it a dark red.

This will make quite a bit so you might want to cut the recipe in half.
