Arkansas Gov. Announces Almost 2-Week Delay in Start of School
It's official, Arkansas public schools will begin the 2020-2021 school year the week of  August 24. The school year was originally planned to being August 13 but Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson announced during his daily press conference that school will be delayed almost two weeks and will begin August 24 and no later than August 26.

Texarkana Pastor Arrested for Sexual Abuse of Child
The Texarkana Texas Police Department arrested Wesley Logan, 56, of Texarkana Texas for  Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Young Child after he turned himself in late Tuesday night.  The alleged abuse began when the victim was 12 years old and continued on a regular basis for several years.  Logan is a pastor at a church in Texarkana, Arkansas.
