Get ready this weekend to head on over to Bossier City for the Red River Balloon Rally at the Brookshire Grocery Arena  (formally CenturyLink Center) on Friday and Saturday night. The Red River Balloon Rally will include balloon glows each night plus live music, a fireworks display, tethered balloon rides, kids’ fun zone, food trucks plus arts and craft booths and more.

The event is from 5-9PM Friday and Saturday nights. They are expecting up to 30 hot air balloons for this rally. There will also be a professional kite flying exhibition and competition.

Friday is Faith and Family Night, with Danny Gokey and the First Bossier Worship Band and YALA. Saturday night it's The Molly Ringwalds will perform along with After Midtown, and Johnny Earthquake and the Moondogs.

Here's something special to watch for, be on the lookout for four special shape balloons this year during the Balloon Glow. The special balloons are Rocky the Flying Squirrel, Bullwinkle, Raccoon and the Cowboy.
