Back to School

The weather may be still hot, but it's back to school for everyone starting today.The Texas side schools joined Arkansas in back to school. Be sure and get back in the habit of slowing down in the school zones, watching for children in those areas, staying off your cell phones and stopping behind school buses.

Law enforcement will be watching for people who do not follow the rules concerning student safety.

It's the beginning of a new year, the long lazy days of summer are behind us. Soon beautiful fall weather, football games, autumn festivals and Halloween will be upon us.

To me it's the best time of the year.
