Texas A&M University-Texarkana’s Campus Activities Board is bringing comedian to campus on October 21 for a performance benefitting the university’s new food pantry, The Eagle Pantry.

According to the press release, he is best known for his role as Damian in Mean Girls, Daniel Franzese was also the lead of other indie cult classics Bully & I Spit On Your Grave. He was most recently a series regular on Mark Gordon's ABC series, Conviction. Prior to that he was a series regular on the Freeform series Recovery Road. A self-proclaimed momma’s boy from Brooklyn, his upbeat high-energy stand-up comedy act captures his amazing and quirky life in the entertainment industry, as well as hilarious stories about his New York parents.

The event will take place on Monday, October 21st at 7pm in Eagle Hall on the A&M-Texarkana campus. Admission is free for current TAMUT students (must present university ID), $5 for TAMUT faculty and staff and $10 for the public.

All funds raised by the performance will go to The Eagle Panty, the university’s food pantry that opened in September. The Eagle Pantry was established to combat the issue of food insecurity, and in partnership with Harvest Regional Food Bank it provides a steady supply of non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products for students in need.

This event is being sponsored by the TAMUT Campus Activities Board.
