The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has two Harleys up for auction!  The bikes are a 2006 Harley Davidson RoadKing FLHP and a 2011 Harley Davidson RoadKing FLHP. 

According to the TAPD facebook page, the motorcycles will be sold without lights and siren and “as is with no warranty.”

You can see the motorcycles at 3801 E. 19th Street by appointment only. Please contact Jason Shores at (903) 798-3130 in order to schedule viewing appointments.

Here's how to make a bid. Bidders may submit bids on one or both of the motorcycles. All bids must be submitted in writing and received by 5 p.m. March 18, 2019. Bids must be sealed and marked on the outside of the envelope “Motorcycle Bid Enclosed” and sent to the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department, C/O Dara Cornett, P.O. Box 1885 Texarkana, TX 75504 or dropped off in person at the police department located on the 3rd Floor of the Bi-State Justice Building.

Remember that bids must include the year model of the bike, amount of bid, bidder’s name and telephone number. Bids without this information will not be considered, nor will any bids received by e-mail or private message be considered.

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids if deemed necessary. Bids will be opened March 19, 2019 at 1 p.m. at the police department. Payment on the motorcycle(s) must be made within 3 business days of the bid opening or the next eligible bidder will be awarded the opportunity to purchase the bike(s). Payment must be either in cash, check or money order and must clear the bank before the bike(s) and title are transferred to the new owner. New owners not located in the Texarkana area are responsible for pick-up and/or delivery of the motorcycle(s). The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department’s sealed bid process ensures that bidders will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, sex, or national origin.
