March 18, 2013 There is a news story out of New York state that has thrown me a bit. It seems that there is now proof that a politician is a liar, and quite possibly a stoned hypocrite... SHOCKING!
A man drove from Long Island, New York, into Lower Manhattan earlier today in a van he thought was filled with explosives. He parked the van close to the Federal Reserve building, just a few blocks from the World Trade Center, and planned to detonate it using a cell phone from a nearby hotel.
The explosives, however, were fake.
July 5, 2011 I saw that headline, and thought, "this will be one of the coolest things I have ever seen."
Police in New York confiscated 5,000 pounds of illegal fireworks so far this year. And on Friday, they blew them all up at once at a police firing range in the Bronx.
