The National Weather Service has placed the Texarkana Area under a * High Risk* for Severe Storms later this afternoon and this evening.


This means the area has a high probability of seeing Severe Thunderstorms which will likely include very large hail, damaging winds, flash flooding and worse yet violent, powerful, and long track tornadoes later this afternoon and this evening. The Texarkana Area is right in the middle of the High Risk designated area. We encourage you to have your battery operated radios handy in case of a loss of power during severe storms. We will be updating you throughout the day for any weather watches or warnings that are issued for our area.
