Booing and heckling is every sports fan’s God-given right. You paid a lot of money to get into the game, so why shouldn’t you have the right to insult the leftfielder’s mother or wave a flag as the shooter stands at the foul line? It’s part of the game that is usually tolerated, except for in golf.
Golf fans are always expected to be on their best behavior and discouraged from booing and heckling.

At last Sunday’s Players Championship in Florida, golfer Kevin Na had a horrible round, and the spectators really let him have it. Afterwards, he complained about the noise coming from the gallery, which all golfers would agree with. Why should Golf be any different when it comes to heckling? I think it would force professional golfers to Improve their concentration and by golly they should considering the astronomical figures they make.

Wanting to be all grown up about the subject I checked Google for the scientific term for sex lube… turns out that it is “sex lubricant”.

We recently told you about the bestselling gadgets, and with the results of that study being what they were, the responsible thing would be to do a follow up post on “sex lubricant.”

Oh, Congress! I love this story! Last year Congress was battling over the health of school lunches, and now pizza is a vegetable! Well, kinda.

First to be clear, Congress never declared pizza as a vegetable, but they did leave some loopholes so  schools nationwide can declare pizza a vegetable!

How did this happen? Well, it was a small little step. Congress declared that an eighth of a cup of tomato paste has the same nutritional value as a half a cup of vegetables. Oops! That backfired a bit! If that’s true, then wouldn’t a Snickers bar equal a serving of nuts?

No fear though, because Jared Polis, a congressman from Colorado, has introduced an act for school lunch improvements.  It’s called The Slice Act,  (Yeah, the humor of that name does not escape me!) which will allow the Department of Agriculture to put new standards on pizza and tomato paste.

Polis told CBS news in Denver  “What Congress has done, believe it or not, is defy logic.” He’s not against pizza he’s just against it being called something it isn’t. “Pizza may be fine to eat from time to time, but it ain’t a vegetable,” he said.

What is shaking in East Texas?Yet another earthquake has struck deep East Texas. This moderate tremor happened around 3:12 a.m. centered near Timpson with a magnitude of 4.3 on the scale. The Shelby County Sheriff’s office says the only known injury was an elderly woman who fell out of bed and cut her arm. There have been reports of broken windows and fallen dishes but no major damage reported so far.

The quake was felt some 75 miles from the epicenter. The same area felt a 3.9 magnitude quake just last week. East Texas is not normally thought of as the place in Texas where earthquakes are felt.

Yawning is contagious. Just not for humans, but dogs, too. In fact, people may instantaneously yawn just by hearing another person do it. Same for dogs. Though they’re 5-times more likely to “catch a yawn” if the pet hears their owner yawning.

Research proves it. Biologists got dogs in the laboratory to yawn by playing recordings of their owners loud yawning. Nearly half of all dogs yawned when played a recording of a complete stranger making such a noise. Biologist Karine Silva said (quote) “These results suggest that dogs have the capacity to empathize with humans”..Now Pass The Snauseges.

67-year-old Robert White went to the Red Parrot Strip Club and got quite a few lap dances, and when it came time to pay up, he was unresponsive.

Some of the bar employees tried CPR, (I like to think it was some well stacked young lady that is stripping her way through nursing school), but it didn’t work.  Robert was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead of natural causes.

The ABC affiliate in El Paso, did a report and think there may be more to it.

We would love to have a car like this, you can think that it is to make-up for shortcomings if you want… we don’t care.

John Lennon’s killer has been transfer to a different maximum-security state prison in New York.

The Buffalo News reports that 57-year-old Mark David Chapman was transferred Tuesday from Attica to the nearby Wende Correctional Facility in Alden, 20 miles east of Buffalo.

Unfortunately, the prison system won’t tell us why. Chapman has been denied parole six times so far but he is up for parole again in August.

Personally, I don’t think he’ll ever make parole, mainly for his own safety! Don’t get me started on this subject, because I just might lose my composure and tell you what I think should really happen to this guy. I will say even though people make jokes about Yoko Ono, I will not. She has been a huge force in keeping this guy behind bars by attending every parole hearing.

Facebook has become a way of life for of us – I thought! A new survey came out and says that’s not true. What?

The survey was conducted by AP-CNBC and it found that almost half of Americans think Facebook is a fad. Only 13 percent that were polled trust the social network to protect their data. The really interesting thing that I found out from this survey was 57 percent of Facebook users don’t click on the ads and another 25 percent said they rarely will click on ads!

Not the best news for a company that goes public later this week, and is justifying it’s value of $104 billion because of it’s advertising business! Also not good,  General Motors is pulling their Facebook advertising because they say it doesn’t work. That’s $10 million of advertising!

But have no fear, I have a feeling Facebook will continue to make loads of money and  will be around for a long time!

Great White singer Jack Russell was involved in a drunken boat crash recently, but as the now-sober rocker proudly explains, he wasn’t the one causing the damage, and luckily nobody got hurt very badly.

As the singer, currently leading a version of his former band under the name Jack Russell’s Great White, recounts to Metal Sludge, “My wife Heather and I were sitting on the couch yesterday evening when we heard this huge ‘Boom.’ I went onto the back deck and this drunk guy in a sailboat had crashed into the back of our boat.”

Fortunately, Russell explains that there was little damage to his boat, and since the offending boat captain had the proper insurance, our narrator decided to take pity on him. “I took his info and had him shove off before the Harbor Patrol showed up, no sense in him going to jail.”

Now, that’s very nice of Russell in one way, especially since it was the other guy’s boat that took the brunt of the damage. On the other hand, he did send a drunk boater back out into the world to possibly do more damage… what would you have done in the same scenario?

Great White was involved in a much more serious accident back in 2003, when pyrotechnics set a Rhode Island venue on fire at one of their shows, killing 100 people and injuring 200 more.

In May of every year, Playboy announces their Playmate of the Year. Each Playmate of the Month from the previous year battles for the honor by campaigning for reader votes, but it’s ultimately Hef who decides. Last week, he unveiled this year’s PMOY – Miss April 2011 Jaclyn Swedberg.

Jaclyn grew up in Chino Hills, California where she graduated from high school in 2008. In college, she plans to major in Communications and wants to pursue a career in broadcast journalism. She’s already off to a good start, having appeared on four shows on Playboy TV: “Badass”, in which she does crazy stunts in the nude, ‘Playboy Beach House’ in Malibu, ‘Playboy Trip: Patagonia’ in Argentina, and ‘Camp Playboy’, which is like ‘Salute Your Shorts’ only with less Donkey Lips and more… D…S… lips.

You might think that’s a full plate, but Ms. Swedberg’s like the Ryan Seacrest of hot models — she’s also a host on a martial arts TV network called BlackbeltTV.

As far as interests and hobbies go, Jaclyn loves reading mysteries and thrillers, baking cupcakes and banana bread, yoga, Scrabble, and traveling – she’s been to more than 20 countries and her favorite place is Greece (maybe she could help out their economy?).

Congratulations, Jaclyn! It looks like we might have another Sara Jean Underwood in the making.

Bloomberg TV reporter, foreign exchange expert and way-too-smart-for-you blonde beauty Sara Eisen recently gave a lady’s twist to the “pants down” phrase in the most literal sense when she was caught on camera with her skirt jacked up.

We have to give her credit since she composed herself and continued with her on-air teaser, although if anything, we’re the ones who got teased.

Kid and his band performed 11 songs with the DSO, then came back out for an encore and did three more songs.  The show ran longer than 2 hours.

As the full crowd waited for the bands to begin, Sara smiled a big snaggle toothed grin at us and fidgeted in her seat like most 6 year-olds do.   She was very proud of her new hearing aids, and she showed them off to my wife with a big happy grin.

I snapped a quick pic, and of course Sara wanted to see.  I leaned over to show her the photo on my phone, and she saw a picture of my dog, and she perked right up, and exclaimed “dog”.  Mostly with sign-language and help from her grandma, Sara told me that she had a dog, then her face went as sad as you could imagine, and she waved her hands side to side and made the sign language gesture to tell me  “her dog had died”.

I don’t know sign language, and there is no way for me to explain the gesture she made with her hands, and the look of sadness on her face accurately here, but I knew exactly what she meant, before her grandma could even utter the words.  My heart broke for that sweet young girl, with all of the trials she’s had, and lost her dog too… I thought I might even get a little “misty-eyed” right there in the Rader Dome at Liberty Eylau High School.  Bless that little girls happy heart!

A few seconds later, the LE High School Band began the show, and Sara’s face again lit up and held a giant grin, as she pointed at the band with one hand and her ear with the other…  She could hear music!

Seeing this gave me a totally new appreciation for the magic in all forms of music, and I am thankful that I was there to experience this concert, and meet Sara.

The Liberty Eylau High School Band had a superlative year. (Superlative is my new word, because I heard the band director use it many times…we tease because we love.)  But seriously, the band had a great year receiving top honors in multiple marching, and orchestra events.  I was very proud of them, and all that they accomplished this year.  I want them to know that on top of all of the awards, sweepstakes, and the glory you earned in competition, tonight you made a little girl very happy, with the beautiful music you made.

By the way, the Ray Charles Tribute was AWESOME!

K-Tel Presents! LOL!  I ran across this video that has somehow become Viral. it ought to bring back some memories. Check out this old television commercial from the ’90s. It’s a spot for a punk compilation CD. Now, one could easily argue that not one of the bands on this CD are actually “punk,” but perhaps the funniest part of this commercial are the horrible actors portraying “punks.”

Richards does admit, however, that he “probably” will watch the show, which will mark Jagger’s first time hosting the NBC sketch comedy extravaganza.

Don’t despair, however. there’s some very good news regarding this Saturday’s SNL. While Richards may be skipping the program, legendary blues-rock guitarist Jeff Beck has revealed that he’ll be accompanying Jagger on the show. And, as previously reported, Jagger also will be joined on stage by Foo Fighters and Arcade Fire.

Tune in to Saturday Night Live at 11:30 p.m. ET to catch all the excitement.

Destiny Monique, the model/actress/former Marine with the coolest name ever, has just wiped the floor with Amber Nicole, Challis Taylor and her other smokin’ hot competitors to become our newest Babe of the Week.

Monique’s biggest threat came in the form of the sexy radio host Erika Othen, whose incredible modeling and singing abilities wowed the voters. But in the end, it was Monique’s dedicated Twitter and Facebook followers that lifted her up to the top.

Of course, she’s used to competing under pressure. (She was in the Marines, remember?) We’re guessing it was the perfect combination of looking fierce and being able to shatter a man’s nuts that made her the fan favorite.
