Charges have been updgraded to a first degree felony against 44 year old Hooks Texas Police Sgt. David Horn.     The Bowie County Sheriffs Office says the updgrade was after it was determined that the drug that Horn allegedly shot into his wife was used to euthanize animals instead of an animal tranquilizer. The new charge allowed for bond to be set higher at $1 million dollars. It is Aggravated Assault Serious Bodily injury with a Deadly Weapon to a family member, which is a first degree felony.    The investigation into this crime is continuing.     The victim in this case Misty Gail Horn is still hospitalized but said by friends to be improving.
