It's safe to say that most hard rock musicians probably aren't fans of One Direction, but one in particular just dissed the British boy band on Twitter: the current bass player for rock legends Van Halen.

On Twitter, Wolfgang Van Halen, bass player and son of the band's iconic guitarist, Eddie Van Halen, wrote from Birmingham, England, "Fun fact: Was just insulted by that s****y boy band #OneDirection in the lobby of our hotel this morning!"

He then continued, "No joke. That ACTUALLY happened."  He went on to say, "that group of kids in #OneDirection were d***kheads" both to him and his two companions.   Mocking the group's name, Wolfgang finished by saying, "They must call themselves that because all of their hair points in #OneDirection."

Mind you, Wolfgang Van Halen isn't some grizzled old rocker -- he's only 21 years old, so One Direction are basically his peers.
