The Texarkana Arts and Humanities Council presents its Ceramics Class with Chris Thomas on September 6th and September 8th in downtown Texarkana.

This is what the Texarkana Arts and Humanities Council had to say about tonight's event:

Join professional ceramicist Chris Thomas in creating Rose Vessels!
This is an opportunity for you to build and paint your own Rose Vessels.
Materials will be provided.

Chris will share her passion for ceramics and assist those in attendance in making their own 'Snuggle Vase'. This is a great chance to explore ceramics and all supplies will be provided for you as well. Even if you have never participated in a ceramics class you will feel right at home with all skill levels invited to attend.

This event will be on September 6th and 8th and will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Building that is located at 321 West 4th Street in Texarkana Texas.

If you are unable to attend you can show your support for future classes and help the Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council make programs for our community. Donations can be made to TRAHC through the following link.

LOOK: Stunning vintage photos capture the beauty of America's national parks

Today these parks are located throughout the country in 25 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The land encompassing them was either purchased or donated, though much of it had been inhabited by native people for thousands of years before the founding of the United States. These areas are protected and revered as educational resources about the natural world, and as spaces for exploration.
