It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in East Texas with the "Wonderland of Lights" festival in the historic downtown area.

This will mark the 36th year for this Texas tradition that has been delighting families and friends for years.

A cascade of thousands upon thousands of glittering lights has been captivating audiences from all over Texas and beyond to see the historic 1901 Harrison County Courthouse the centerpiece of Wonderland of Lights completely adorned with lights along with the nearby trees and bushes. With plenty of unique antique shops, stores, and restaurants nearby there's something for everyone.

Festival goers can enjoy an outdoor skating rink, and a vintage completely restored 1948 carousel, take a train ride, and see a collection of tiny houses that make up Santa's Village where kids of ages can make a Christmas cookie and visit Santa Claus.
