How Old Is Too Old When It Comes To Trick-Or-Treating?

With the first full week of October almost over and the feeling of fall in the air we asked you how old was too old to go trick-or-treating.
I have two kids my son Grant is now 14 and my daughter Addy is 10. This year both kids came to me with their Halloween Costume ideas and I was a little surprised that my 14-year-old is still into Halloween.

He wants to be a character from Cobra Kai and Addy wants to be a character from her favorite Japanese anime show. I guess my dad was a little bit old school when he told me when you were 14  you were too old to trick-or-treat.

So we asked you on Facebook what you thought and here are some of the answers.

Victoria said it best, "There is no age limit".

Deja agrees with the no-age limit and said if an adult showed up they would get candy too.

Krista's story about her dad is awesome. If they came to my door they would all get a little extra candy for the creative costume.

Janie's husband is pretty awesome for taking their daughter and other family members out trick-or-treating.

I really like what Hollee has to say. She doesn't care if you have a costume or not, you are getting a full-size candy bar. We need to know where Holle lives so we can go by her house on Halloween.

I really like what Rum Dum has to say. We have no idea what the story is of those kids and adults coming up to our house to trick-or-treat. So be young and enjoy Halloween. I for one will be encouraging my kids to go through the neighborhood and just have fun.
