Three Take-Out Meals on Mother’s Day Worth the Drive

There's no question that Mother's Day will be a lot different this Sunday, May, 10. Under the current circumstances, many of you may decide to stay at home opting to do a cookout for your mom instead of venturing out to a restaurant.

With strict guidelines in place because of COVID-19 many eateries will have limited seating capacity, so expect to wait a while to get a table. However, the good news is that many restaurants are offering special Mother's Day meals.

Here is a list of a few national chain restaurants that are offering special deals. Remember to continue to practice social distancing and you may be required to wear a mask while dining in. I'm still thinking the best bet would be to do their curbside service or takeout.

Below is a list of restaurants offering Mother's Day specials. As always, please call ahead to make sure they are participating in this promotion and to make sure they are open.

Cracker Barrel

Participating Cracker Barrel locations will be offering free delivery on Mother's Day family meal baskets which includes chicken, chicken n' dumplings, meatloaf, or all-day pancakes. For every meal basket, to-go, you will receive a $10 gift card she can use at a later date. Curbside or delivery.

Olive Garden

Olive Garden will be offering their fresh-baked breadsticks in a "take and bake" family style bundle featuring ready-to-bake breadsticks and dip, cheese-stuffed shells. and house salad.

Outback Steakhouse

Now through Tuesday, May 12, you can order a filet and lobster tail or a prime rib and crab cake dinner for mom, and if you would like to add a lobster tail or crab cake you can for only $10. Curbside pickup or delivery.
