This Saturday, December 5 at 10 AM is the Dallas Holiday Parade. For those that may have been a little disappointed in this year's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York, this should be a real parade and at the very least, closer to what you wanted to see on Turkey Day.

I have to tell on myself a little bit here, being born and raised in Dallas, I have been to a few of these at a very young age. Just to show you how long ago that was, my mother used to work for Dreyfuss & Son Department Store at the corner of Main and Ervay St. in downtown Dallas in the early 60's. So we had guaranteed good spots for the parade.

The link for watching the parade in a live-stream format on your computer is here.

Not quite as good as being there but with any luck, better than other disappointing parades this year...
