Texarkana Texas Firefighter Retires After 33 1/2 Years

There's one thing that firefighter Keith "Odie" Smith can't say any more, he can't say he's a "firefighter," and it only took him 33 1/2 years to say it.

Congratulations Odie Smith, and thank you for your service to the Texarkana community for over three decades. We hope you get to fish a little more and with any luck, worry a little less. You have earned it sir.

Texarkana is a grateful town today for sure.
