Texarkana, Texas Council Member Arrested for Alleged DWI

A Texarkana, Texas City Council member has been arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated.

Texas side police say Christine P. Paddock was arrested on Wednesday November 9, at 10:37PM. Authorities say she was driving her vehicle in the 3000 block of University Avenue and was stopped for a traffic violation.

The officer involved in the stop administered a series of field sobriety tests. Paddock was arrested and transported to the Bi-State Jail.

Paddock was released about five hours laters on a personal recognizance bond.

According to authorities this was her first alleged offense.
