Texarkana Launches Anti-Litter Campaign Tomorrow, April 22

Earth Day 2021 seems like the best day to kickoff an anti-litter campaign in the Texarkana area so that's what multiple organizations around our area are going to do tomorrow, April 22, 2021.

The stated vision for this campaign is; “Make Texarkana clean, neat, green and pretty.”

The organizations include Texarkana USA Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Cities of Texarkana, Texas and Texarkana, Arkansas.

If you or your organization are interested in contributing to the effort in either money or volunteer time, Natalie Haywood would love to hear from you by May 1,  nhaywood@texarkana.org.

All groups are welcome, schools, churches, retail, restaurants, media, neighborhood groups, industry, etc.

“Strategic Doing teaches people how to form effective collaborations quickly and to move them toward measurable outcomes in a lean and agile fashion,” explained Jennifer Harland, board chairman for the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce. “This is more than a community pride initiative, it encourages economic development and prosperity for our region,” continued Harland.
