Texarkana Area COVID-19: By The Numbers – November 9
Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reports 43 new cases since Friday, November 6, 2020 for a total of 2,268 positive COVID-19 cases, with 87 deaths. The Department of State Health Services is reporting 1,575 recoveries. There are currently 606 active cases in Bowie County.
Cass County added 47 new cases and currently has 628 total, with 516 of those recovered, and 31 fatalities. Cass County currently has 68 active cases.
Miller County has 1796 total cases, 209 active positive cases, 1565 recovered and 22 deaths. (Updated 11/9/20)
Through the end of the year, free testing will be offered Monday- Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Texarkana- Bowie County Family Health Center at 902 W. 12th Street, Texarkana, TX 75501. There are no requirements for testing (residency included), oral swab with results in 48-96 hours, and pre-registration available at www.gogettested.com.
