It's almost time for the 9th Annual Live United Bowl and the teams that will play have just been announced.

From the Great American Conference (GAC), Southeast Oklahoma State University will be making another appearance at the Farmers Bank & Trust LIVE UNITED BOWL and the team that will take them on is from the Mid-America Intercollegiate
Athletics Association (MIAA), Emporia State University.

So, get ready as The Savage Storm and the Hornets will go head-to-head. The game will be played Saturday, December 3 at Razorback Stadium in Texarkana, Arkansas. Kick-off is at 12 PM.

There is something new this year! Pay-for-View for all the family and friends who can't make the trip to see the game in person. The link will be available on the Live United Bowl website for a $9.99 fee.

The teams will arrive into Texarkana in the late afternoon of Thursday, December 1 and be at their hotels in the Texarkana Arkansas Crossroads Business Park. The community is invited to come out and and welcome the teams to Texarkana. The times of arrival will be posted on the website. Don't be surprised if you see the Teams out and about as they will be participating in local community events on Thursday and Friday and a football practice will take place Friday afternoon at Razorback Stadium and Pleasant
Grove stadium.

Allen Brown, president of the Live United Bowl and mayor of Texarkana Arkansas stated in a press release;

“This bowl game would not be possible without our founding sponsor, the City of Texarkana, Arkansas A&P Commission and our title sponsor Farmers Bank & Trust.  We are also thankful for the City of Texarkana, Texas who sponsors the Jeans, Boots and BBQ Banquet.”

 

 

The Banquet is scheduled for Friday, December 2 at the Texarkana, Texas Convention Center from 6 PM to 8 PM.  Tickets are limited and will be sold online only for $25
per person. You can purchase your banquet tickets at www.liveunitedbowl.com. There will be a community pep rally that will take place after the banquet at 8 PM. The pep rally will also take place at Texarkana, Texas Convention Center and is free to the public.

Tickets will go on sale Monday, November 21 at the Farmers Bank & Trust locations on Ark Blvd and East 9th Street. Tickets will also be available at any Mil-Way Federal Credit Union location, the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way of Greater Texarkana office. You can also purchase tickets online at www.liveunitedbowl.com.

Tickets are just $10 for Adults and $4 for Students.
Student tickets are only available at any of the above locations or at the gate. Gates will open at 8 AM tailgaters. The Stadium Gates will open at 10 AM.  If you are interested in volunteering, you can find out more information and sign up on the website.
