Talking to Weird Al Yankovic – Coming to Texarkana October 17 [AUDIO][VIDEO]

I was thrilled to get the opportunity to talk to Grammy Award winner "Weird Al Yankovic". We talked about his upcoming visit to Texarkana, life, love... and a little about adult diapers.

The "Prince of Parody" Weird Al, (or Al as I call him since we are close personal friends now that we spoke on the phone), will perform in Texarkana October 17 at the Perot Theater.

Al has been around since before MTV and has had a career that has outlasted a lot of the artists he poked fun at, and now he is also a Best Selling Author of Children's books, his latest is titled "My New Teacher and Me". (I really did read this book, all 800 words of it.)

The first song of Al's that I remember, and still one of my favorites, was a parody of "My Sharona" from The Knack... "My Bologna". When asked what his favorite parody song was, he chose this one...
