Tarantulas can be seen all over Texas and New Mexico pretty much anytime but right now they are really coming out in droves in what appears to be a mass migration. They aren't migrating though, they're male tarantulas trying to score.

Did you know 546 different species of spiders call Arkansas their home? Nothing to worry about right? Unless they're toxic! Would you be able to determine which ones are dangerous? Well, a little bit of good news, of all 546 spiders only 4 are deemed deadly...

I will be the first to admit, I don't like spiders, never have never will. First of all, there just creepy, and the bigger they are the more ominous they look.

Are you moving to Texas soon? Have you been thinking about it? I'll be the first to stand up and shout that I love my state! Texas is the greatest state in the Union, of that, I have no doubt. There can be challenges living here though, for instance, there are a lot of critters that will try to kill you and then consume you here.

By now most of you know Texarkana made national news last week when a rainstorm dropped fish out of the sky but it could have been worse, it could have been spiders. And yes, this does creep me out.

Imagine coming face to face with one of your biggest fears. As you are reaching up to fill the cat's food bowl on the top tier of their tower, your hand hits a sticky web then your eyes move up to see the biggest spider you have ever seen in your life.

Spiders are scary little creatures. Places you don't want to find them would be inside your house and especially not crawling across your face as you sleep which has actually happened to me.

Imagine peeling a banana for a snack only to find that hundreds of little spiders are starting to hatch on it. Now imagine that those spiders are the most venomous on the planet... that's what happened to this lady.
