Imagine reeling in a fish that weighs as much as a small car—Joe Gonzales just did that on South Padre Island.

the Coastal Conservation Association and the Center for Sportfish Science and Conservation just fired up a new website called Fin Finder that allows you to track these bad boys throughout their travels.

It's not that they can't find it anymore after it being renamed the Gulf of America. Or was it to the Gulf of Texas? Either way, they still know where it is and have no trouble at all getting there. They don't want to.

It's July and that means we are going to start hearing a lot about shark sightings again. The National Geographic channel has just begun its traditional Sharkfest month and I got to thinking, I wonder if there have ever been sharks found in freshwater in Arkansas?

Now you don't have to travel to the Gulf Coast to swim with the sharks you just have to take a road trip to Northwest Arkansas.

It's July and you know what that means! Shark week is coming on the Discovery Channel starting Sunday. Did you know that at the Texas State Aquarium, in Corpus Christi, Texas you can now swim with the sharks?

Are you moving to Texas soon? Have you been thinking about it? I'll be the first to stand up and shout that I love my state! Texas is the greatest state in the Union, of that, I have no doubt. There can be challenges living here though, for instance, there are a lot of critters that will try to kill you and then consume you here.

Had a chance to take a week and go visit friends in Florida. We stayed at a house on St. George Island with the Apalachicola Bay on one side of us and the Gulf on the other. I didn't know it when I went down, but we were going shark fishing!

Surfing champ Karina Petroni recently took a swim with a Shiver of Caribbean Reef sharks in the Bahamas. That's what you call a group of sharks, a Shiver. This video will give a lot of folks some shivers...
