September 11th

September 11th, 2001 began like any other day as I hurried about the bank tending to customers' needs. “May I help you,” I asked each new customer who came in, forgetting that there was a world outside the branch. Then the doors swung open and a somber-faced policeman entered to tell us that the world had changed forever.

In what's become a grim and somber ritual for Americans, citizens will gather Tuesday to mark the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, in which Islamic extremists killed nearly 3,000 people. Thousands are expected to come together in New York City, Washington, DC and Pennsylvania to pay their respects.

With the 10th anniversary of 9-11 upon us, all of the News Channels and TV Networks have been running memorial specials, and will all weekend.  As much as I don't want to relive the memories of some of the things we saw and heard that day, I can't help but to watch.   September 11, 2001 is an event that will never be forgotten, but I was surprised that there were still some facts that some people
