Longtime Who frontman says these could 'possibly' be his final shows.

It was Kit Lambert, who died on April 7, 1981 at 45 years old from a luckless accident, who first encouraged Pete Townshend to write his own songs in the early '60s.

The grass isn't always greener -- and these rockers learned that the hard way.

Whether planned or unplanned, 2025 marked the last time we'll see these legends onstage.

"To what we know as the Who, it's goodbye," Pete Townshend declared after the final song.

The band is currently playing shows around North America on their The Song Is Over farewell tour.

"Pete [Townshend] and I retain the right to be the Who," the singer declares. "Everyone else is a session player.”

Honors were also bestowed upon Steve Winwood, 10cc’s Graham Gouldman and Elaine Paige.

One is ready to "throw s--- at the wall," while the other remains silent.

"I've got to find good people with the time to make this film."

Set included Who classics and covers of Leo Sayer, Taj Mahal and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

"All of a sudden, every youth in America wanted to see the Who," Roger Daltrey tells UCR.
