Football is underway, triple triple-digit heat appears to be over. How does this translate to criminal activity? We have no idea, but let's take a look at what transpired last week in Bowie County. BCSO took in a total of 56 people last week. BCSO Deputies arrested 25 of those, and other area law enforcement agencies arrested 31.

On the fourth week of August, AC units are going belly up all over the Ark-La-Tex, no shocker there, the grass is crunchy and most people are too hot to worry about expending the anger energy. I said most, not all. Your Bowie County Sheriff's Office took in a total of 58 people last week. BCSO Deputies arrested 28 of those, and other area law enforcement agencies arrested 30.

It's the third week of August, and whatever Mother Nature has been cooking, someone needs to tell her, it's done! Arrests in Bowie County took a bit of a jump jump last week with your Bowie County Sheriff's Office arresting 63 people in total. BCSO Deputies arrested 25 of those, and other area law enforcement agencies arrested 38.

The second week of August was hot enough that even people who wanted to do bad things took a bit of a break. Your Bowie County Sheriff's Office arrested 55 people in total last week, BCSO Deputies arresting 16 of those, and other area law enforcement agencies arrested 39.

Sometimes it seems to get too hot even for the criminals, but still, there were 60 total arrests last week in Bowie County. Sheriff's Deputies arrested 25 of those, while other area law enforcement agencies brought in 35.
