"It's a long way to the top and staying there takes it out of you, especially an Aerosmith tour," guitarist said.

The rockers canceled their farewell tour due to Steven Tyler's vocal injury.

Guitarist will be joined by Aerosmith bandmates and other high-profile collaborators.
