Arkansas School Garden Contest

A big congratulations to a local elementary for winning a category in a state-run contest! The Arkansas Department of Agriculture and the Farm Credit Associations of Arkansas are pleased to announce the winners of the 2020 Arkansas Grown School Garden Contest:

Time is running out and soon the deadline to apply for the seventh annual Arkansas Grown School Garden of the Year Contest will be here. The deadline is September 13. The Arkansas Grown School Garden Program was created to showcase Arkansas schools that have developed gardens to support innovative and hands-on learning.

School entries are being accepted for the sixth annual Arkansas Grown School Garden of the Year Contest sponsored by the Arkansas Department of Agriculture (ADA) and Farm Credit.

Some green thumbs could be beneficial for Arkansas students.
