On average, women live longer than men. All over the world, they just do. Scientist have finally figured out why that is.

Research by scientists in Japan has shown that as men get older their bodies produce less T Cells and B Cells than women do.

B Cells produce antibodies, and T Cells fight infections.

The research suggests that the female body is designed to last longer than the male body. Male bodies just start breaking down earlier than females. Making men more prone to infections and disease sooner than women.

The current life expectancy in the U.S for men is 75.35 years, and for women it is 80.51 years.
