Salvation Army Opens Drive-Thru Food Donation/Distribution Center

There are a lot of people in our area that need food during this difficult time of the COVID-19 and the Salvation Army in Texarkana is helping by opening a “Neighbor to Neighbor” drive-thru donation center.  

This center will open this Friday, April; 17 and stay open as long as they receive community support and the need for food boxes remain strong.

The center opening on Friday will be located at the Family Store located at 420 Walton Drive Texarkana Texas.

Please remember this store is not open for business they are only using it as for the food box program.

If you or someone you know is in need food boxes they need to register by calling 870-774-2701 and they will be given a pickup time for their food box.

This way they can assure that there will not be any long lines that will interfere with traffic.

When you pick up your food box you will be asked to give the claim number that you received during the registration process.

Keeping with social distancing you can stay in our vehicle and the Salvation Army worker will put the food boxes into your vehicle's trunk. ​

If you would like to make a donation. Donations are taken Monday - Saturday from 9AM to 6PM.
