Queen in Talks With Lady Gaga to Front The Band

We've all heard that Queen is looking for someone to fill the shoes of Freddie Mercury, but Lady Gaga?

Brian May was at the BMI awards in London to receive the Icon award on behalf of the band, and gives us some insight to what is happening with Queen.

“We talk about going out on the road all the time but there’s a bit of a singer problem to put it mildly,” he said.

“We get a lot of offers to work with other people. I worked with Lady Gaga and she’s very creative and is someone we’ve talked about singing, fronting the band with. She’s not just a singer, she writes her own material.”

At the very least, May added, Gaga seems committed to participating in a possible guest-filled TV special centered around his British band.
