PG & Pewitt Move Up, Daingerfield, Gilmer and Prescott Are Done

Friday night was a wrap for three area teams, Daingerfield, Gilmer and Prescott, but the good news is, two area teams are still in it, and they both might just win it all.

Congratulations again to Texarkana's own Pleasant Grove Hawks as they have secured the Regional Title (for reals this time) by beating District rivals Gilmer in quarterfinal action Friday night 55-21.

With that win, PG is set to return to the Star in Frisco, Texas for a semi-final game this Friday night vs the Greenwood Rangers out of Midland. The kickoff is at 6 PM, the Rangers are 14-0, our Hawks are 13-1. Go HAWKS!

Congratulations as well go to the Paul Pewitt Brahmas as they ended their District rivals, Daingerfield's season last Friday night with a final score of 45-42.

This week they prepare to but heads with another team called the Brahmas out of East Bernard, located about 45 miles southwest of Houston. Both teams will head to Waco play their semi-final game in the Waco ISD Stadium Friday night at 7:30 PM. East Bernard is 14-0, Paul Pewitt is 13-1. Go PAUL PEWITT!
