It's coming soon. The New Boston Pioneer Days Festival is Wednesday, August 17, through Saturday, August 20, in New Boston, Texas.

It all takes place at the T&P Trail Head Park & Pavilion on U.S. Highway 82 and South Ellis Street.

There will be arts and crafts, live music, food, games and a free concert Saturday night August 20 with Eddy Raven. The concert gets started at 8:30PM. Be sure and bring your lawn chairs.

Eddy Raven wrote songs for Roy Orbison, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Tanya Tucker and Kenny Chesney. He also has had a successful career of his own with hits like "I Got Mexico," "Joe Sure Knows How to Live" and others.

The Car and Motorcycle Show will take place that Saturday morning with line up beginning at 11AM just north of the pavilion. Registration closes at noon with judging at 1PM. It's $20 per class. You can get more information by calling Charlie Clark at (903) 276-3221 or Cody Clark at (903) 556-6798 or visit the Pioneer Days Festival Facebook page.
