Koe Wetzel is coming to the Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City, Louisiana on Friday, April 1, at 7 PM.

Wetzel a native Texan from Pittsburg has been compared to David Allen Coe because of his diverse musical style of country-rock and punk. Koe began singing when he was only six years old, his mother was a touring country singer while his father was a construction worker. It wasn’t until he played linebacker in college at Tarleton State University that he made the decision to give up the gridiron for the stage.

A whole new legion of college students quickly became fans of his music all across the country which led to the release of an EP and his first album, Noise Complaint in 2016. As his musical career continued to grow he signed with a record label in Austin, Texas in 2018.  After signing with a new label in 2019, he released a new album Harold Saul Wetzel but it wasn’t until he signed with a major label Columbia Records in 2020 and released the album, Sellout that Wetzel begin to really see his music and career take off.

Koe Wetzel has always pushed the boundaries and limits with his music which is why some have given him the label of a modern-day outlaw.
