National Signing Day a Huge Event at Pleasant Grove
Four different sports were very well represented Wednesday at Pleasant Grove High School. Great things continue to happen in athletics at PG.
Today was National Signing Day across the country. That is where student athletes in high school sign letter of intents to continue their academic and athletic careers at various colleges and universities.
Pleasant Grove athletes in football, baseball, soccer, and golf will continue to play their favorite sport at the collegiate level.
The theme of the day, was not only athletic skill and excellence, which these students obviously have, but also academic excellence, good character, good support system, and a lot of hard work.
Each athlete talked about their gratitude to their coaches, parents, and teammates on being where they are today.
Jackson Pace has signed to play football at Abilene Christian University
Hannah Haltom signed to play golf at McLennan Community College.
Matt Day will play soccer at Ouchita Baptist University.
Caleb Bolden signed to play baseball at Seminole Junior College.
Cade Thompson will play baseball at Arkansas Monticello.
Congratulations to these student athletes, their coaches, parents, and family members and to the Pleasant Grove community on these outstanding achievements.
