For me, one thing that is more impressive than the "big one" at Talladega Speedway is when the drivers can reel it in, and AVOID the big one, and because of that I have to say the move of the day was Ryan Newman and Juan Pablo Montoya. When Ryan was spinning out, Juan stayed into the drivers side, and straightened him out all at 190+ miles per hour!

In the end of all of the excitement it was Jimmie Johnson that was victorious, with a big help from is Hendrick Racing team-mate Dale Jr.

Talking of Jr.'s help with pushing him to the win, Johnson told NASCAR.COM that he tried to give him the checkered flag...

Well I got it and gave it to him. He goes, 'I don't want it.' I said, Well, I've got to give you something -- here. Thanks.' He's got the checkered flag over there, and I can't wait to tilt a cold one back with him and thank him for a good job done today."
