Did You Know Scream 7 Was Shot in Dallas? But Not the Texas One!

A big weekend for the new Scream movie and it looks like some of the film was shot in Dallas, but not the one we're used to.

Scream 7 made over 97 million dollars over the weekend and I saw someone say online was the film shot in Dallas? No spoilers here don't worry! It looks to be a small town somewhere in America from the trailer, but at the 43 second mark you will see a theater playing 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' and the theater itself is called Dallas.

Now the latest film is set in a fictional town of Pine Grove, Indiana. Movie studios use real life film locations all the time and this was actually shot in Dallas...Georgia.

Looks like the town's main street of just over 14,000 people was used as the setting for certain parts of the latest Scream franchise. This theater actually did a free showing of the original Scream in October last year. Looks like filming took place in January through March of 2025, so the theater was probably aware they were going to be in the latest movie when they did that free showing.
