We have something really fun to look forward to here in East Texas and it's coming up fast! There is a new tradition on its way and you are more than encouraged to join in on the fun of ROUNDUP DAY!

Taking place on Friday, September 25!

What Is Roundup Day?

This is a new community-wide celebration that kicks off the start of the East Texas State Fair. It’s a day where local businesses, schools, and organizations will show their Fair pride by dressing in Western wear. There will be themed events going on all over town and you’re encouraged to make it happen at your work or school.

It could be as simple as wearing cowboy boots at the office or holding a lunchtime chili cook-off. This is all about bringing East Texans together to have some fun as we kick off the East Texas State Fair!

Why East Texas Needs Roundup Day

This is all about having some fun, and why not add a little excitement by putting on some Western wear. We do live in East Texas, let’s live up to the stereotype even for one day, it will be fun.

Tell your boss about the new new community-wide celebration you need to put on the work calendar now. And remind them that it would be a great day to let everyone go home after the lunchtime chili cook-off to go enjoy the fair.
