This type of heart attack is more severe and more dangerous than any of the other types of heart attacks. Did you know that close to 285,000 people in the U.S. experience this type of heart attack every year?

What is Lifeline STEMI Referring Center?

Lifeline is a national, community-based initiative improving systems of care for patients with STEMI where they focus on the quick and proper treatment for heart attacks. Lifeline Referring Center recognizes hospitals of all sizes that do not have a 24/7 cardiac catheterization lab available but work with emergency medical services so they can make sure that their patients can still receive STEMI and NSTEMI care.

This is a very prestigious award and it is great to see that Wadley at Hope has received this special recognition.
