UAHT Is Now Ranked Among Arkansas’ Top Trade Schools
The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana has been ranked the No. 4 trade school in Arkansas in the 2027 Best Trade Schools in Arkansas rankings from ArkansasTradeSchools.com.
The independent site ranks Arkansas trade schools based on the breadth of their career and technical programs. UAHT was recognized for offering programs in five of the 10 trade pathways covered by the ranking: welding, industrial maintenance, HVAC, industrial electricity and nursing.
UAHT Partners With Local Industry
The programs are offered across UAHT’s Hope and Texarkana campuses and are designed to give students hands-on training for careers in fields with strong workforce demand.
“We are honored to be recognized as one of the top trade schools in Arkansas,” said UAHT Chancellor Dr. Ricky Tompkins. “This recognition reflects the hard work of our faculty and staff and our continued commitment to providing students with high-quality, hands-on training that prepares them for successful careers.”
Tompkins also pointed to UAHT’s partnerships with local industries, saying the college works to develop a skilled workforce while strengthening the communities and economy it serves.
The recognition comes after UAHT was also included on USA TODAY’s 2026 America’s Best Trade Schools list. ArkansasTradeSchools.com cited that national recognition as another distinction for UAHT.
