Texas Runoff Election Day Is Tuesday, May 28 – Early Voting Is Now

The contentious race between Texas incumbent House District 1 Representative Gary VanDeaver and challenger Chris Spencer should drive many back to the polls one more time next Tuesday, May 28. Early voting just got underway today, Monday, May 20, in Bowie County and will continue through this Friday, May 24, from 7 AM - 7 PM at the locations listed below.

NOTE: Early Voting locations are not all the same as day-of locations.

There are three locations in Bowie County in which you can early vote:

• Bowie County Courthouse - Elections Workroom, 710 James Bowie Dr., New Boston, TX 75570
• Southwest Center, ABC Room, 3222 W. 7th St, Texarkana, TX 75501
• Walnut Church of Christ, Westside Entrance, 2720 Moore’s Ln, Texarkana, TX 75503

Then go vote, yours could be the deciding one. Voter turnout in runoff elections is notoriously low, literally one vote over 50% will assure the victory in this race and the House Seat in District 1 in the Great State of Texas. Pretty big deal.
