
Texarkana Police Arrest 3 Teens After Apartment Shooting Early Sunday
Texarkana police arrested three teenagers early Sunday morning (November 16) after a shooting at an apartment complex on Stoneledge Drive in Texarkana, Texas.
Texarkana Officers Respond Quickly to Sunday Morning Shooting
According to the Texarkana Texas Police Department's Facebook page, around 4:30 a.m., officers were called to the complex after reports of shots being fired. When they arrived, they spotted a vehicle speeding away from the area and stopped it just a couple of blocks later.

When the occupants got out, two immediately took off running. Thanks to the officers' teamwork and a helpful citizen who grabbed one of the teens as he tried to run past him. Three of the four suspects in the vehicle were caught within minutes.

Inside the vehicle, officers found evidence tying the group to the shooting. After the Investigators questioned the teens, they found out there had been an argument at a party in the complex. Several people pulled out guns and started firing. At least five parked cars were struck by gunfire, but thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Texarkana Police Still Investigating Early Sunday Morning Shooting in Texarkana
Two 17-year-olds, Elijah Dunn and Diego Garcia, were arrested for Deadly Conduct and booked into the Bi-State Jail. A 15-year-old juvenile was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center on charges of Deadly Conduct and Evading Arrest. Officers are still working to identify the others involved.
