Lend a Hand to Keep Texarkana Beautiful
Looking for a way to give back to the community? Keep Texarkana Beautiful (KTB) is inviting volunteers of all ages to help spruce up the area around Karrh Park during its Summer Community Cleanup on Saturday, July 18.
Where to Meet
The cleanup will run from 8 AM until noon, with volunteers meeting in the Karrh Park parking lot at 2102 S. Ann St. in Texarkana, Texas before heading out to pick up litter in nearby neighborhoods and public spaces.
Supplies and How to Get Involved
Keep Texarkana Beautiful will provide everything needed for the cleanup, including trash bags, litter grabbers, gloves, and safety vests. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle.
The organization says community cleanups help improve neighborhood appearance, protect local waterways, and encourage community pride while bringing residents together to make a visible difference.
Who Can Participate?
Individuals, families, businesses, churches, civic groups, and other organizations are all encouraged to participate. Volunteers should arrive a few minutes early for check-in and a brief safety overview before cleanup assignments begin.
