Texarkana AR Police Searching for Stabbing Suspect in EZ Mart Incident

Stabbing Reported at EZ Mart on East 9th Street

Texarkana Arkansas Police are searching for a suspect following a stabbing Tuesday evening at the EZ Mart located at 3401 E. 9th Street.

Officers were dispatched around 5:30 PM on March 3, after receiving a report of a stabbing involving a FedEx delivery driver. When officers arrived, they learned the suspect had gotten into a confrontation with the driver that escalated into the alleged stabbing.

Suspect Flees Scene After Dropping Knife

Investigators say the suspect stabbed the victim during the altercation, then dropped the knife and fled the area before officers arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is receiving treatment for injuries sustained in the assault. His condition has not been released.

The suspect is described as a slender Black male in his early 20s. His identity has not yet been confirmed.

Twist? Suspect's Attorney Arrested For Evidence Tampering

Detectives determined the suspect was accompanied by Zoe Jackson, a defense attorney based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Authorities allege Jackson removed the knife from the scene and concealed it inside her vehicle. She was arrested on a charge of felony tampering with physical evidence and transported to the Miller County Jail.
