It's always good to know before you go and here is something that you need to know if you live in and around the Texarkana area. The Texarkana Water Utilities will be working on a popular road to repair a water main.

The repair work will take place on College Drive between Summerhill Road and Texas Boulevard. This will all take place starting at 8 AM on Thursday, October 19. There will be one lane closed on College Drive in order to make the repairs needed. Please be aware that there will be road closure signs posted and men will be in that area working.

Please slow down and be patient while this repair is being performed or find a different route. The Texarkana Water Unities is hoping to have this project completed by 5 PM. on Thursday, October 19.

The water service in that area will not be affected.
