New 5K And Car Show at Pickle Fest Texarkana

The fun will all start at 10 AM and go on until 5 PM. New this year will be a 5K race and car show, giving visitors even more reasons to head downtown. If you remember, the first Pickle Fest took place in the spring, but festival officials decided the cooler fall temperatures would be better for a day outside.

Pickles, Music, Vendors And More

The Pickle Fest will feature live music, food vendors, adult refreshments, shopping vendors and contests, including a pickle juice drinking contest, see who can hold a stein full of pickle brine the longest and a pet pickle costume contest (try to say that one 3 times fast!)

There will also be a kids area, canning competitions, and of course, plenty of pickles.

Whether you're a pickle lover, a classic car fan, or just looking for a fun family event, there will be plenty to enjoy throughout the day.

For more details, including registration information for the 5K and car show, just go to their website at picklefeasttexarkana.com. You can also go to their Facebook page and keep up to date on all the events.
