It's already the middle of June and there are a few great events taking place right here in Texarkana. Most of the events are family-friendly too. From Downtown Live, Flag Day ceremonies and more.

Downtown Live - Friday night

Enjoy great music and shopping as businesses stay open a little later during Downtown Live Friday night from 6 PM to 9 PM. Vet Fest and Post Renaming - Saturday Morning

It's the 2nd Annual Vet Fest and Post renaming ceremony. There will be food and fellowship with Veterans, friends and family. Everyone is welcome. The post-renaming ceremony will start at 10 AM on Saturday. The Vet Fest will begin at 11 AM. VFW Post 4562, located at 47 East 9th Street in Texarkana, Arkansas.

Flag Day Ceremony - Saturday

The ceremony on Saturday afternoon is open to the public at 3 PM at the Elks Lodge #399 located at 4701 Garland Street in Texarkana, Arkansas.

Hats On For Hands On Texarkana - Saturday
