Rising Country Star Priscilla Block Coming to Texarkana Nov. 3

Busch Light is proud to present rising country star Priscilla Block with special guests Jesse Jenkins, and Ethan Lil Skinny on Friday, November 3, at the Front Street Festival Plaza in downtown Texarkana.

This will be a part of the 90th-anniversary celebration brought to by Eagle Distributing of Texarkana. In addition to the Priscilla Block concert, the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will make an appearance for this 4-day festival event.

Priscilla Block is a 28-year-old Raleigh, North Carolina singer-songwriter who now lives in Nashville, Tennessee released the song "Just About Over You" on TikTok in 2020, the song went viral and impressed Nashville music executives signing her to a major record deal with Mercury Nashville. In 2021, Block was nominated for the ACM "New Female Artist of the Year, in 2022, CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year - "Just About Over You," and in 2023, ACM New Female Artist of the Year. She is currently on the chart with Justin Moore with the hit, You, Me, & Whiskey.

"Her debut album is appropriately titled Block Party which features her newest solo single, "Fake Names." Priscilla is an artist that defines the words, "three chords and the truth" for a new generation of country listeners.

Cool Story

One of the coolest stories that Priscilla remembers is when she was working at a yogurt shop at a very young age when Taylor Swift drove by and saw her wearing one of her shirts prompting Taylor to pull over and say, " Hey, I love your shirt so much thanks for supporting me me." It was at that moment that she realized she didn't want to give up her dream of being a singer-songwriter-musician. When she was old enough she packed her bags and moved to Nashville and the rest is history as the story goes.

After many years of honing her skills, playing late-night gigs around town, and lots of hard work and doing lots of odd jobs to help support herself Priscilla Block began to turn. When COVID hit in 2020, she was locked down with pretty much everybody else in the country. During that time she wrote a lot of songs eventually leading to posting her music on TikTok to share with fans and soon she watched her fan base grow even bigger landing on top of the iTunes Country and All-Genre song charts. Perseverance would eventually pay off down the road Priscilla’s streaming has now topped 250 million and rising steadily.

Today, Priscilla has a record deal with a self-titled EP, followed by her first full-length album. Her signature sound of country pop and southern rock is what defines her as a new-generational artist in today's country music world.
