
Grab Your Cameras Arkansas! Sunrise & Sunset Photo Contest Happening at Prairie D’Ane
Do you love snapping pictures or just enjoy hanging out in nature? Then it’s time to grab your camera or smartphone and go for the short drive from Texarkana to Prescott.
The Nevada County Depot Museum and the Prescott-Nevada County Library are teaming up for a Sunrise & Sunset Photo Contest, and they want to see your best shots of Prairie D’Ane.
It doesn’t matter if you're a seasoned pro or just love taking photos for fun; this contest is open to all ages. Oh, and they are accepting both digital and print entries. This is a great way to show off the natural beauty of our local prairie and share your view with the world.
What You Can Win in This Arkansas Photo Contest
Think you’ve got the winning shot? They’ll be handing out awards for first and second place in three different categories:
Plant Life
Animal or Insect Life
Sunrises or Sunsets
Get those photos taken and enter soon because the deadline to enter is August 15.

The Rules & How to Enter the Sunrise & Sunset Photo Contest at Prairie D’Ane
All photos must be taken at the Prairie D’Ane Battlefield, located at 2243 Highway 19 N. in Prescott, Arkansas.
